Frequently asked questions
What is a 1:1 session like?
In my practice, I incorporate a variety of methods combining ancient traditions with modern science to bring you the best of what holistic medicine has to offer: nutrition, functional lab testing, herbal and botanical support, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and bodywork. After a complete review of your health history (where we get to the root of the problem), you will walk away with a ready-to-implement action plan that requires minimal lifestyle change or investment - I am food-forward (that means you won't need hundreds of dollars worth of supplements).
What kind of health concerns do you address?
I work with client dealing with health concerns big or small, but my primary expertise focuses around women's reproductive health, overcoming disordered eating and weight issues, irritable bowel syndrome (and other digestive disorders), healing food sensitivites, and managing depression and anxiety.
Can I do sessions with you if I'm being treated by a doctor?
Yes. In fact, I recommend you only implement our plan under the supervision of your primary medical practitioner. These are "compelementary" methods because they will work in support of any other medications or protocols you may be on.
How many sessions do you recommend?
I aim to make this a non-dependent relationship: Meaning you will benefit thoroughly from just one initial consultation with me, and perhaps you choose to stop there. If you feel you need more than one session to address what's happening in your body, I aim to make it accessible to work with me on an on-going basis. But (unlike most Western medicine) the goal is to get you to a place where you *do not* need ongoing support.
Do you offer payment plans or sliding scale payments?
Yes. Please just reach out to me in an email with your needs. I am here to make these resources available to everyone who needs them.
You can cancel or reschedule an appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Initial consultation fees are non-refundable. Follow-up consultation fees are refundable if cancellation is made prior to 24-hours before appointment.
